How do you opt out of marketing emails?

Opt out of marketing email using the Direct Marketing Association's Mail Preference Service, entering your email address and verifying the request. Signing up for this service is free and allows you to opt out of receiving emails for six years.

1. Visit the website

   Opt out of receiving emails on the Direct Marketing Association's homepage. Click the Email Opt Out Service to open another window.

2. Enter an email address

   Enter the email addresses at which you no longer want to receive marketing email. You can enter up to three addresses at a time.

3. Verify the request

   Retype the string of letters and number in the box at the bottom of the page to confirm your request. Click the Submit button.
