Are oranges good for dogs?

Oranges are good for dogs and provide vitamin C, according to Modern Dog. However, WebMD says to take out any seeds before feeding orange slices to dogs.
Dog Channel explains that oranges provide fiber, calcium and other vitamins and nutrients for dogs. Dogs should not eat orange rinds, and they should avoid leaves and stems of orange trees because of the trees' oils and psoralens, which are toxic to dogs. Eating unsafe parts of an orange or too much of an orange may result in diarrhea, vomiting or depression. Half of an orange slice makes for a safely sized treat.
