A map listing stores that accept food stamps is available on the Unites States Department of Agriculture website, and most of the stores which accept EBT have a sticker on the front door or in the window near their entrance.

The vast majority of large national and regional grocery store chains and even corner markets or gas station mini-marts accept food stamps, also known as SNAP benefits. Stores must offer certain types of food items in order to be eligible to take EBT payments. Stores that accept EBT payments include such well-known national chains as Costco, Target, Trader Joe’s and Walmart.
