What does a parallel line look like?
By Forinfos - 03/12/2025 - 0 comments
Parallel lines are two lines that are the same distance apart along their length. They never touch one another. They look like the outer lines of a road or the edges of a rail track.
Parallel lines never meet, meaning there is no intersection point between the two lines. Parallel lines always point in the same direction. When a pair of parallel lines are crossed by another line, called a transversal, the parallel lines share the same angles. These angles are referred to as pairs of angles. Perpendicular lines are the opposite of parallel lines. They are formed when a pair of lines intersects at a right angle.
