Lexus vehicles are sold in over 70 countries and territories around the world. Lexus has its headquarters in Nagoya, Japan. The company also has regional centers in Brussels, Belgium, and Torrance, California. As of 2015, Lexus' largest-selling market is the United States.
The Lexus LS 400 was the first model ever designed. While the concept originated in 1983 as a follow-up to Toyota's premium product line segment, sales didn't launch until 1989.
