What is Peter Pan's real name?

Peter Pan's real name is Peter Pan. His origins are found in the book "The Little White Bird" by J. M. Barrie which was written in 1902. Two years later he would appear Barrie's play "Peter Pan, or the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up."

In the original draft of the play, Peter Pan was a villain who kidnapped children and brought them to Neverland, while Captain Hook was a character created to distract the audience during set changes. The Disney animated movie, "Peter Pan," took out much of the darker tones and but kept the childishness and turned Peter Pan into a teenager, rather than the infant of Barrie's novels and play.
