Petland acquires puppies from USDA licensed breeders, hobby breeders and local adoption organizations. Petland ensures that every breeding facility follows the Animal Welfare Act. Each facility is also personally inspected by employees to evaluate care. Petland places thousands of homeless puppies a year through its "Adopt-a-Pet" program. Puppies are sold with a health warranty covering infectious diseases and other defects. Petland's "Pets for a Lifetime" program helps customers find new homes for their pets if necessary.
