Peekapoo puppies are mixed-breed puppies that are part Pekingese and part Poodle. This breed was developed in the 1950s to create small, sociable lap dogs. They grow to be about a foot tall and weigh up to 20 pounds. The color and texture of their coat varies.
Puppies that take after the Poodle breed are likely to have white, curly coats, whereas the puppies that take after the Pekingese are likely to have patterned, straight coats. The dogs are known to be friendly, affectionate and comically protective of their owners, given the breed's small stature. Peekapoos generally live to be 10 to 15 years old.
