What is the most popular browser?

Google Chrome has recently become the most popular web browser in the United Sates, as of November 2014. According to the Daily Mail, new figures show that Google Chrome claims 31.8 percent of the desktop and mobile Internet market.

Prior to June 2014, Internet Explorer commanded the majority of Internet users, but a new report released by Adobe Digital Index puts the previous leader in second place with 30.9 percent. Apple's Safari comes in third with 25 percent, and Mozilla's Firefox dropped to owning only 8.7 percent of the Internet market. Chrome's success may be attributed to the cohesiveness of Google's extensions and accessibility to the Google search page, Gmail and Google+.
