As of 2015, consumers are able to customize backpacks, training bags and footwear through NikeiD. The program includes women's, men's and kids' shoes for several sports, including running, basketball, soccer, football and golf. Nike also personalizes socks with names and numbers.

NikeiD allows it customers to design shoes to fit their performance needs and fashion styles. For instance, after selecting a running shoe, the customer also chooses the pattern and color. Nike offers traction preferences. For soccer cleats, options include grass fields, artificial grass or wet conditions.

Backpacks and bags have several possibilities for customization. These include outer panels, straps, pockets, webbing and logo colors. Consumers also add names and numbers.
