As of August 2015, no evidence exists to prove that Wendy Williams is currently or was born a man. The idea that Williams is a man is an unsubstantiated rumor. Kevin Williams Jr. was born to Williams and her husband, Kevin Hunter, in 1999, proving that Williams is female.

Wendy Williams was born in 1964 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She started off her media career as a radio disc jockey and dubbed herself "The Queen of All Media." Williams became well known for sparring verbally with celebrities. In 2008, "The Wendy Williams Show" aired on BET, giving her television exposure and boosting her career.
