What is the purpose of a resume?
By Forinfos - 08/05/2025 - 0 comments
The purpose of a resume is to capture the attention of the potential employer. A resume provides a brief summary of skills, abilities, experiences and accomplishments. Resumes can be thought of as a way to advertise who the candidate is.
The resume is often the one and only way a potential employer views the candidate for a position. It needs to be professionally written and reviewed. A resume needs to not only be appealing to the reader's eye, but also brief and to the point. If the candidate does not come across as being able to perform the tasks of the job, his resume is ignored.
