What are red acrylic nails?

Red acrylic nails are red nail extensions that are glued onto fingernails with acrylic applied over them. While acrylic nails are available in many colors and patterns, basic red is one option. Acrylic nails don't chip or peel, but there is a risk of contracting nail fungus when wearing them.

Acrylic nails, red or otherwise, harden within 30 seconds of application and are fully dry within 15 minutes. They require solvents, such as acetone, and careful use of a nail file to remove. While most people do not have a problem wearing acrylic nails, the fingernails can become tough or discolored underneath them.
