How do you register a Subway card?

MySubwayCard.com provides online registration for the Subway card as of June 2015. Clicking the Register a Card tab on the My Subway card website opens the registration page.

The registration form asks for a full name, address, cellphone number, date of birth, gender and email address. Subway uses this information to advise the user of special offers and birthday offers. At check-out, a user can give a registered cellphone number in lieu of presenting the card at participating Subway Rewards locations to continue receiving one point for every dollar spent. The registered user can sign in to the website to check card balances.
