How do you remove chewing gum from carpet?

Remove chewing gum from carpet by placing an ice cube in a resealable bag, holding the ice on the gum to freeze it and then gently scraping the gum from the carpet with a butter knife. Remove any remaining gum bits with an all-purpose solvent gel.

1. Place an ice cube in a resealable bag

   Put one ice cube in a resealable sandwich bag, and seal the bag tightly. This keeps water off the carpet.

2. Freeze the gum with the ice cube

   Hold the ice cube in the bag on the gum for 5 minutes or until the chewing gum is frozen hard.

3. Scrape the gum off the carpet

5. Rub the area with a towel
