What is a reverse brindle pit bull?
By Forinfos - 12/04/2026 - 0 comments
A reverse brindle pit bull has a coat pattern of extensive stripes that mask the background coat color, giving the dog the appearance of being black or black with light markings. Normal brindle is a pattern of dark stripes on a light background.
Brindle is one of the many common coat patterns found in pit bulls, and it can be many different hues. Reverse brindle, however, is usually black with fawn or tan marks. Some reverse bridle pits appear to be entirely black, although the lighter marks can be very faint or only present on a small area of the dog.
