What is a reverse french manicure?
By Forinfos - 04/02/2025 - 0 comments
A reverse French manicure where the prominent color is painted at the base of the nail instead of at the tip. A reverse French manicure is also called a half-moon manicure.
While the French manicure is often created with a sheer pink or clear polish and a white tip, the reverse manicure usually includes brighter hues. For instance, nails painted black can be accented with a glittery shade of gold or silver at the bottom of the nail, in the shape of a half-moon. Stickers are used to section off the nails so the polish is applied correctly, and the bottom of the nail features a different color than the top.
