Is there a second "Plants Vs. Zombies" game?

There is a sequel to "Plants vs. Zombies." The game, called "Plants vs. Zombies 2," is available on PopCap's website, as of 2014. According to IGN, the game was released on July 18, 2013. It used the free-to-play model along with microtransactions, although players can access all content without paying.

While the game was originally released for Apple devices, it is available for download for both iOS and Android platforms, as of 2014. IGN states that the game has dozens of new levels, plants, challenges and zombies. Different power-ups that allow players to interact with the zombies are also available. Stages have different themes, such as Ancient Egypt and the Wild West.
