Should blueberry bushes be placed in full sun light?
By Forinfos - 03/03/2025 - 0 comments
Blueberry bushes do need to be planted in full sun light to ensure they produce the most fruit. Like many other fruits, blueberries grow best in full sunlight. At a minimum, blueberries need partial sunlight to thrive.
The type and amount of sunlight needed depends on the variety of the plant. For instance, Southern blueberry varieties cannot survive a cold winter, and Northern blueberry varieties cannot survive high heat. All blueberry plants do best with seven to eight hours of full sunlight per day. The number of berries produced is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight the plant receives.
