Why should children go to school?

Children should attend school to learn how to research, form opinions and ultimately prepare for life as a productive adult. College is often looked at as the place to learn about a subject and prepare for a career, but younger children need a good education to get into a good college.

Teens who drop out of high school are at a higher risk of being unemployed or only finding work in low-paying jobs. This increases the risk of needing government help for survival and having a difficult time providing for basic everyday needs. Schools provide alternative programs for students who struggle with the traditional school setting, ensuring that all children can receive a good education.
