Should you purchase an LED TV or a plasma screen TV?

The differences between an LED TV and a plasma screen TV largely come down to preference. LED TVs are thinner than plasma screens and offer a wider range of colours. Plasma screens have better black levels and offer wider viewing angles than LED TVs.
While plasma screens offer better black levels, LED TVs are generally brighter, so whites appear better on LEDs, making them a better choice for watching TV in a brightly lit room. LED TVs also use less energy than plasma screens. It is rare to find higher resolution TVs, such as those using a 4k panel, with plasma screens.
