What is Sigma Alpha Lambda?

Sigma Alpha Lambda is a National Leadership and Honors Organization that is available for college students at more than 100 universities throughout the United States. Sigma Alpha Lambda strives to serve campuses and communities while developing high academic achievers into leaders.

Sigma Alpha Lambda was founded at the University of Arizona, but now has over 100 chapters nationwide. To be eligible to join, an undergraduate student at one of those universities must have sophomore status or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Members are eligible to win awards and scholarships up to $5,000 through Sigma Alpha Lambda.
