Snap-On teeth are among a line of oral health options called veneers, according to WebMD. These veneers are most often removable coverings for existing teeth or gaps, but some companies do offer them as permanent solutions.
In 1990, a new chapter of dental health history began with veneers and other aesthetic products as described by the American Dental Association. The version of these veneers known as the Snap-On gets its name from the manner in which they are held in the mouth, by snapping them on to other existing teeth in the area around the portion to be covered.
