If someone is allergic to aspirin, it is possible that they may have an allergic reaction to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Advil, explains Mayo Clinic. However, an allergy to aspirin does not necessarily guarantee an allergy to all nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs.

If someone has had a severe allergic reaction to aspirin, it is best to avoid nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs until any allergies can be determined by a health care professional. A person who has had an allergic reaction to aspirin should consult with a doctor about the reaction and about taking other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Advil and Motrin, says Mayo Clinic.
