Where do you put a stomp pad on a snowboard?

The stomp pad is placed in front of the back binding of the snowboard. Stomp pads provide traction for the back foot when it is out of the binding. Snowboarders may need a stomp pad when they are getting on or off a ski lift, or when they are performing a freestyle move that is one-footed.
A stomp pad is generally made from a rubber material that can provide a good grip on a snowboard that can be very wet and slippery. Mounting the pad onto the snowboard is easy because there is an adhesive at the bottom for its attachment. This pad is especially useful for beginners.
