Which sports utility vehicles rank highest in driver satisfaction surveys?

The best SUVs of the year for 2014 were the Chevrolet Suburban and Cadillac Escalade, according to the AutoPacific Motorist Choice Awards. Both of these vehicles received winning scores in two categories. Other SUVs that scored highly include the Toyota FJ Cruiser, Lexus LX and GMC Acadia.

The Chevrolet Suburban was the popular winner in the Cargo Hauler and Road Trip categories, both of which consider the roominess of the vehicle's interior and how many people and items it can reliably transport. The Cadillac Escalade, which also scored highly in the Road Trip category, won the People Mover category, associated with vehicles having flexible and comfortable seating arrangements.
