To book rooms using the Starwood Hotels & Resorts HOT rate, customers must reserve online. As of 2015, there are several rate plan identification codes for this program, such as WEB1, WEB2, WEB3, WEBWKND1, WEBWKND2 and WEBWKND3. Starwood Hotels & Resorts has two additional Internet-only discount programs: Hot Deals, which does not require the room to be pre-paid, and Last Minute Weekend Rates, which offers 35 percent off the weekend rate as of 2015.
