Where does Steve Ovett live?

As of 2014, former Olympian Steve Ovett resides in Australia with partner and former Aussie distance runner Carolyn Schuwalow. Ovett initially moved to Australia in 1998 with first wife Rachel after several years in Scotland.

The former middle-distance runner placed fifth in the 800-meter run at the 1976 Summer Olympic Games in Montreal. Four years later, Ovett took home the gold medal in the same event during the Games in Moscow. Ovett also set world records for the 1500-meter and 1600-meter runs during his career. He retired three years after failing to make the 1988 Olympic team and began working as a track and field television commentator in 1992.
