Shakespeare's way with words is another reason his works are still studied today. Many of the phrases featured in modern language originated from the famous writer. Scholars still study Shakespeare because his works deal with issues that continue to be relevant in modern society. For example, "Romeo and Juliet" not only deals with young love, but it features a political aspect as well.
