Where are Subaru cars assembled?

As of 2015, all Subaru vehicles sold in the United States except the Impreza are assembled in Lafayette, Indiana. The Impreza is assembled in Gunma, Japan. Subaru also builds the Camry for Toyota in Indiana.

In 2013, the parent company of Subaru, Fuji Heavy Industries, announced that the Impreza would be assembled in Indiana starting in 2016. According to Automotive News, Subaru is set to invest more than $400 million and hire 900 additional workers to increase capacity of the Indiana plant to 300,000 vehicles per year by 2016.

Subaru partnered with Isuzu in 1989 to open the plant in Indiana. In 2001, Subaru purchased Isuzu's interest in the plant.
