Who is the superintendent of Columbus City Schools?

As of April 2015, the superintendent of Columbus City Schools is J. Daniel Good, Ph.D. Dr. Good has occupied this position since July 1, 2013.

Columbus City Schools is the largest school district in Ohio, with over 50,000 students and 8,300 employees in 109 schools. Dr. Good has several academic degrees, including a Doctorate in Philosophy Degree in Education Theory and Practice from Ohio State University. Before taking over as superintendent for Columbus City Schools, Dr. Good was a superintendent in the Westerville and Wooster school districts in Ohio, as well as a principal and a teacher. He also held several leadership positions in the Ohio Department of Education.
