By Forinfos - 09/11/2025 - 0 comments
According to the Centers for Disease Control, the symptoms of a hobo spider bite are itching or rash, pain at the bite, muscle pain or cramping, reddish to purplish color or blistering, increased sweating, difficulty breathing, headache, nausea and vomiting, fever, chills, anxiety or restlessness, and high blood pressure.
The CDC also states that hobo spiders are only found in the Pacific Northwest, however there are several other types of poisonous spiders including black widows and brown recluses. Please seek immediate medical attention if you believe you have been bitten by a poisonous spider. If possible, identify the type of spider, stay calm, clean the bite area, apply ice and elevate the wound.
