Most of the patients who suffer from mild to moderate hypertension experience little to no symptoms, according to WebMD. Patients with severe high blood pressure may experience headaches, fatigue, vision problems, chest pain, irregular heartbeat and blood in the urine.
Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a common medical condition that may go untreated in many patients. Because mild to moderate high blood pressure produces little to no symptoms, many people do not realize they have the condition if they do not see a doctor regularly. Patients with severe hypertension that goes untreated may go into hypertensive crisis, which could lead to a heart attack or a stroke, explains WebMD.
