How tall is the tallest man on Earth?

As of 2015, the official world record holder for being the tallest man on Earth is 8 feet 3 inches tall. His name is Sultan Kosen, and he lives in Ankara, Turkey.

According to Guinness World Records, Kosen is one of only 10 people in all recorded history to have surpassed 8 feet in height.

The former tallest man, Xi Shun from China, measured under this height, at 7 feet and 8.95 inches.

Kosen has also broken records for having the largest hands, which are 11.22 inches from each wrist to the tip of each middle finger, and the largest feet with the left being 1 foot 2 inches in length and the right being 1 foot 1.98 inches in length.
