What is teal hair dye?

Teal hair dye is a liquid, foam or gel coloring agent that changes the color of hair from its natural color to dark greenish blue. Teal hair dye can be permanent, semi-permanent or temporary depending on the brand.

To make teal hair dye brighter and longer lasting, apply it to clean, dry hair. Rinse out the dye with cold water to help seal the cuticle and seal in color. Next, cover the hair with a specialized after-treatment, and let it stay on the hair for the number of minutes specified in the directions. Rinse the treatment out of the hair. Apply conditioner, and leave it on for the designated number of minutes. Rinse hair again.
