When was Apache Tomcat 7 released?

Apache released the first stable version of Apache Tomcat 7, version 7.06, on January 14, 2011. The company released the first beta version of Apache Tomcat 7 on June 29, 2010. The latest version of Tomcat 7 is version 7.0.65, which became available on October 9, 2015.

Apache Tomcat 7 supports the Servlet 3.0, JSP 2.2 and EL 2.2 specifications. It also supports the User Datagram Protocol and Java Management Extensions for cluster implementation. Besides bug fixes, the developers also removed unused and deprecated programming code, including imports, fields, parameters and methods in Tomcat 7. This software is available on the Apache Tomcat website for free.
