The recommended baking temperature for Sculpey clay is 275 degrees Fahrenheit or 130 degrees Celsius. The baking time should not be greater than 15 minutes per 1/4 inch thickness of Sculpey clay.

Sculpey clay, first manufactured by Polyform Products in the United States in the 1960s, is a registered trademark for a brand of polymer clay. It was initially created as a thermal conductor component in electrical transformers, which later developed into a modeling clay used by people involved in the crafting business. Sculpey clay is baked and molded using a conventional oven. Microwaving the clay is strictly not recommended, according to the Sculpey website.
