What are the best temperatures for sealing a driveway?

It is recommended to apply driveway sealants in temperatures ranging from 75 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Sealant may, however, be applied when both the air and asphalt have reached a minimum temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit and are rising. Sealing should be avoided when temperatures exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Driveways should be sealed under clear skies with no chance of rain, as shady or humid conditions cause sealants to take longer to cure. A driveway that is too hot may dry the sealant too fast, resulting in an uneven finish. Sealing a driveway in conditions that are too cold may restrict the sealant from curing the way it should.
