Does Thabo Mbeki have any children?

Thabo Mbeki fathered a child with Olive Mpahlwa, named Monwabise Kwanda Mpahlwa. Monwabise Kwanda was born out of wedlock when Mbeki was only 16 years old.

Thabo Mbeki served for two consecutive terms as President of South Africa from 1999 to 2008. His political inclination was influenced by his father, Govan Mbeki, a prominent leader in the African National Congress. From 1962 to 1990, Mbeki was forced to live in exile due to the imposed apartheid system in South Africa. It was in 1981 when his son, Kwanda, along with Mbeki's brother, Jama, disappeared and were believed to have been murdered by apartheid operatives. Since the disappearance, various men have claimed to be Mbeki's lost son.
