When is the best time of day to take Clomid?

It is thought that taking Clomid before bedtime can help a woman sleep through some of the side effects, says fertility expert Rachel Gurevich. Most important, however, is that the woman take Clomid at the same time every day, no matter the time she chooses.

Ms. Gurevich explains that there is not much a difference in success of getting pregnant between starting a treatment on day three or day five of a woman's cycle, and her doctor usually makes the determination of when to start. The most important thing is to take the Clomid at the same time every day. While taking it at night can help a woman sleep through the side effects, some women do better by taking Clomid in the morning.
