Tyler Perry, actor and film producer, is not married as of April 2015. Perry and his girlfriend Gelila Bekele have been together since 2009 and had a son on Nov. 30, 2014. Rumors of a secret wedding between the two have been denied.

Tyler Perry caused controversy when his son Aman was born, as Perry is known for his Christian beliefs, which are also evident in many of his works. Aman was born out of wedlock, which many of his Christian fans see as hypocritical as this goes against his religion. Perry has not commented on the subject in the media.
