What is the umpire salary in the MLB?

According to the MLB's official site, the starting salary for an MLB umpire is $120,000 annually as of 2014. Senior MLB umpires make as much as $350,000 annually.

Seventy umpires comprise 17 crews with four umpires each and two national rovers. MLB umpires generally come from the Minor Leagues after working eight to 12 years for lesser wages. Umpires work more than just the six month season with Spring Training, the postseason and the All-Star game. Turnover is low, and there is usually only one opening each year. Umpires receive four weeks of vacation each year, of which three weeks must be taken consecutively.
