The University of Idaho's main campus is in Moscow, Idaho. The university was founded in 1889 and features eight campuses throughout Idaho, as of 2014. The University of Idaho is ranked as one of OutsideOnline.com's top 25 recommended colleges.
The University of Idaho is a public university and has received numerous accolades and recommendations for being an affordable public college. U.S. News and World Report ranks the University of Idaho at 166 in its list of top national universities for the 2014-15 school year. The university offers over 80 Masters Degree programs and over 200 organizations for students to join. Moscow, Idaho is also the home of the annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
