Is Uranus hot or cold?

Uranus has a hot surface. The surface temperature of Uranus is estimated to be around 4,200 degrees Fahrenheit. The surface of this planet also has strong winds that can be well over 500 miles per hour, and an air pressure that is 1.3 times that of earth.
The extreme weather on Uranus is largely due to the planet's sharp axial tilt of almost 98 degrees Fahrenheit. In comparison, Earth only has a tilt of 23.5 degrees. Earth has 10 percent more gravity than Uranus. Over 80 percent of the atmospheric composition of Uranus is made up of hydrogen, while helium and methane make up the rest. The 2.3 percent composition of methane is what gives Uranus a bluish-green color.
