Ingredients:
- 3/4 lb. potatoes
- 3/4 c. beer
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- Vegetable oil

Mix the beer, flour and seasoning in a small bowl. The mixture should form a batter.
Pour the oil into a large, deep frying pan until the pan is half full. Turn on the stove and track the temperature with a deep frying thermometer. Keep heating the oil until the temperature reaches 375 F.
Place the potatoes in the top part of a curly fry cutter. Turn the handle to slice the fries into spirals.
Coat the fries in the batter
Deep fry the potatoes in the oil for six to seven minutes. If the fries start to stick together while cooking, separate them with a pair of tongs.
Line a baking sheet with paper towel and place the fries on the sheet to drain them of excess oil.
