How do you use Ford's remote start system?

To use the remote start button, which is located on the key fob transmitter, press the lock button to lock all the doors. When you press the remote start button twice, the exterior lamps flash twice, and the car starts.

The power windows do not work during the remote start, and parking lamps remain on. The vehicle runs for up to 15 minutes, depending on the setting. Remote start allows the ignition to be turned on from a distance of up to 300 feet. Turn the vehicle off by pressing the remote start button once. This may require the user to be closer to the vehicle, due to ground reflection and engine noise.
