The Caterpillar D11 is a large bulldozer that can be used to move large quantities of rock or dirt, rip ground surface rock with the aid of a claw or decompact agricultural land. The D11 is frequently used in the mining, forestry and construction industries.

Caterpillar first released the D11N in 1986, and future iterations of the machine have included the D11R, D11R Carrydozer, D11T and D11T CD. As of 2016, the D11T is the largest bulldozer manufactured by Caterpillar. The D11N was originally constructed to assist miners by moving large quantities of material short distances in relatively confined quarters.
