Where is Voyager 1 headed?

According to NASA, Voyager 1 continues to head toward the outer limits of the solar system. It was designed to collect data on interstellar space, after what was known as the "Grand Tour" of planets. Since 1989, Voyager 1's mission was officially changed to interstellar exploration.
Much of the recent data collected from Voyager 1 centers around the heliosphere, a boundary of charged magnetic particles emitted by our Sun. This sphere extends far beyond the outer planets of our solar system and marks the boundary of interstellar space. NASA has found that Voyager 1 officially crossed over into interstellar space in August 2012, after detecting a change in density and oscillation of the plasma surrounding the probe.
