On what side does bride walk down the aisle?

In a traditional wedding ceremony, the bride walks down the aisle on the right of her father. There is a customary order for the entire wedding processional.
For a traditional wedding, the officiant appears at the altar first. The groom and best man enter from the side and go to the altar. The first members of the bridal party to walk down the aisle are pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen. If the numbers are uneven, one attendant walks alone or attendants of the same sex walk together. Next comes the matron or maid of honor. The ring bearer is then followed by the flower girl, or they walk together. Finally, the bride and her father appear.
