When is wild hog hunting season in Missouri?

Missouri does not have a wild hog hunting season because targeting wild hogs is discouraged as per Missouri's 2015 Hunting and Trapping Regulations. As of 2015, the Missouri Department of Conservation instead encourages people who encounter wild hogs to call their dedicated feral hog reporting phone line.
Wild hogs in Missouri range in size from four to six feet long and 160 to 600 pounds. They typically stand three feet tall. A wild hog's coat varies in color, but the hair is typically shaggy and long. Wild hogs are dangerous when cornered and have a powerful sense of smell, therefore hunters should use human scent-masking techniques while hunting for other animals.
